Welcome to Stem Reform

Facilitating Change in Undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Education

The goal of this site is to provide a collection of resources relevant to promoting changes in instructional practices used for the teaching of undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Our hope is that change agents and those studying change benefit from the resources already collected here as well as contribute additional resources.

We have found it useful to categorize resources depending on whether they relate to change strategies or change theories. Change strategies are activities or sets of activities designed to bring about change. Change theories are systemic and formalized ways of thinking about and framing change that are predictive, logical and testable. We've also included a few general peices for those just getting started with this subject matter. Click on a heading to find more resources for that category.
