 Very nice 'think piece'. Argues, using Lesson Study as an example, that the standard "General Proof" route is not the only nor necessarily the best route for instructional innovation.

Promotes consideration of the "Local Proof" route. Although K-12 focused, many arguments are relevant for college level change.
